Our Story.

Huddled amongst independent craft vendors, in a town called Nuneaton, known for its heritage, Rhubarb and Mustard’s story goes back to 2016. Transforming from vintage and mismatched to modern and botanical, a local family have taken over with a diverse brunch menu centred on indulgent homemade food and sustainable resourcing. 

As an independent café business with a passion for using local suppliers, we pride ourselves on being able to offer the best possible ingredients in our made to order dishes. From homemade syrup in our renowned French toast specials, to homemade seasonings and doorstop bakery bread in our extravagant dirty eggs, we work meticulously in order to cater to all tastes, appetites and dietary requirements with dedicated staff always willing to offer a helping hand. 

Since the very start of our journey, genuine hospitality as well as great food is the driving force of everything we do. We work passionately to employ staff, many of whom have been with us since the early days, who share not only our love for food and great coffee, but also strive to bring people together in a no-frill, relaxed atmosphere, a home from home. 

 

Put simply, Rhubarb and Mustard is a continuously evolving café led by the committed staff, the customers that visit, and the innovative food and drink served. So with free parking and an hour or two to spare, why not come down and support a local business.
